Megapixels vs DPI : How to buy a good camera ?
Maximum people of our society think, high megapixel camera means high quality photo, but this is not always true. We will have to confirm that the camera produce 300 dpi photo. DPI means “Dot Per Inch”. After opening any photo by Adobe Photoshop, click on “Image” menu, then “Image Size” sub-menu. Now see the Document Size. It will tell you:
Resolution: “___” pixel/inch
Always remember that 300 pixel/inch (dpi) is best. To set any taken photo as computer wallpaper, we never
need any camera of more than 16 Megapixels, but it will have to produce 300 dpi
photos. You are suggested to check camera or mobile phone in Adobe Photoshop or
any other software in camera or mobile shop. To make it more clear, here are two charts for you:
